• Reason: We are committed to allowing everyone to experience the powerful capabilities of Google AI directly. Starting this week, all Gemini users in supported countries and regions, using supported languages, will have access to Google’s most powerful AI model series. To better fulfill this commitment, we decided to rename Bard to Gemini.

Furthermore, over the coming months, Gemini Advanced will continue to add various unique features, including support for more extensive contextual background information, stronger multimodal interaction capabilities, improved programming functions, and the ability for users to upload and analyze files, documents, data, and more. Gemini Advanced is a paid service and has been launched in over 150 countries and regions in a new window. For iOS devices, try Gemini in the Google app. The Gemini app will initially be available in English on select devices in the US, with Japanese, Korean, and English (for UK, Switzerland, European Economic Area countries/regions, and related areas) versions rolling out globally soon, along with support for additional countries and languages.
