Whether you want Bard to help you craft engaging and creative content, converse in any of over 40 supported languages, seek in-depth programming assistance, or explore new topics from different perspectives, Bard can now assist you with better quality and accuracy in exploring various possibilities.
- Reason: We adhere to a rapid iteration principle, striving to bring Bard’s cutting-edge “black technology” to people around the world. Your feedback has enabled us to build the most powerful version of Bard to date, allowing users to collaborate with Bard in multiple languages from anywhere in the world.
Verify Bard’s Responses with the Updated Google Search Feature
- Changes: Leveraging the powerful capabilities of Google Search, the [G] button now allows you to check the answers generated by Bard using AI. This feature currently supports English only. When we’re able to assess a statement, it will be highlighted in Bard’s responses for you to click and learn more. Note: The links provided lead to content found through Google Search and do not necessarily represent the source Bard used for its original response.
- Reason: Nowadays, people use AI tools to better understand complex topics in new ways. As you learn new information with Bard’s assistance, it’s crucial that you feel confident about the AI-generated information.
Continue Conversations Shared with You
- Changes: If someone shares a conversation with you via Bard’s public link feature, you can continue the discussion using your own account.
- Reason: We often draw inspiration from others, and the more ideas we encounter, the more likely we are to generate truly innovative concepts. Therefore, we hope to make it easier for you to use shared conversations as a starting point for your creative explorations.
More Features Available in All Supported Languages
- Changes: In all supported languages, you can now use Google Lens to upload images, view images from Google Search in answers, and request Bard to modify responses to be simpler, more detailed, shorter, more professional, or more casual.
- Reason: By allowing Bard to tailor responses to better suit your needs, you’ll gain greater control over your creative process. Including images in your queries can spark new ideas, while images in responses can help you bring those ideas to fruition.
